Daily (February 2, 2007) Everything made it to Vermont. But the crate was slightly destroyed. Everybody was ok, but I am going to have a lot of work to fix the crate to send them back home. We will see what tomorrow brings.

Viewmaster Personal Reels

December 20, 2006

Today is Wednesday and it is officially the last day at work until January 2nd. I am very happy about this. I have spent most of the week trying to get the pictures from Kevin up, working on the poem submission for Polyphony, and getting my viewmaster slide film developed. I decided to go ahead [...]

David, The Bride and The Boys find their new home

December 17, 2006

Today is Sunday and it was spent moving everything out of the cars and trying to put stuff away. It was also spent sleeping. David, The Bride, and the boys have found a new home (which has required me to move and reorganize my inside desk) and I have saved one of the posters to [...]

Breaking Down the Installation and Shooting it in Stereo

December 16, 2006

Today is Saturday and it started late. The plan had been to pick up the camera from Margaret around 9am. Since I didn’t get to bed until after 6am this obviously did not happen. Chris and I got to Margaret’s around noon. She showed me how to use the camera and we got to the [...]

Welcome to my Nervous Breakdown!

December 16, 2006

It’s Friday, and Welcome to my Nervous Breakdown. Jerry took off today to help me finish loose ends with my installation and I am grateful that he did. I wouldn’t have been able to put up the process or tribute stuff up without him. He also had to get really creative to fix my typos [...]

…there is no rhyme or reason to it anymore…

December 15, 2006

Everything has started to fuzz now and I really can’t tell what happened when…just that I am trying [...]

I didn’t work on the project yesterday in the hopes of recovering a little bit from my weekend. Today is Wednesday and I took a half day so that I can get started at the Jail. I tried to take the whole day off but I had to come in for a meeting in the [...]

The Bride gets her Face and The Boys get their Bones

December 11, 2006

Today is Sunday – even though the blog post says Monday – here we go again. After only a few hours of sleep I woke to start again. The day was spent painting the the small sugar skulls for the bouquet, painting The Bride’s face, and giving the boys their bones. I am so tired [...]

David’s Bride

December 10, 2006

Today is Saturday (even though the blog post says Sunday – it is very late/early Saturday night/Sunday morning) and I decided to take Friday night off since it was so late when I finally went to bed yesterday. I also thought that I would be able to get more done if I got some sleep. [...]

Caution! Entering Sugar Skull Hell

December 8, 2006

Today the prints I am donating were ready and I had a small hiccup in the evening because I had to pick them up from Christopher’s dad (Bill) who was nice enough to print, mat, and frame them. This set me back a bit on my schedule but I was still able to get a [...]
