Another Found Object Drawing

Viewmaster Elephant
I have decided to broaden my description of “found.” Currently it has included anything found in the trash, on a sidewalk, or on the side of the road. Since I simply can’t pass up neat-o stuff from the thrift store too I am going to include Thrift Stores. Why? Because sometimes you just can’t pass up gems like this: A real vintage Viewmaster Projector.

According to 3Dstereo.com this is “A ‘moderne’ projector design introduced in the early 1950′s by Sawyers. It is made of black bakelite and grey metal, and it projects images in 2D.” Coolio! I have to get a bulb and I can’t wait! I’ll let you know how it works as soon as I find out.
Cheers.
