Studio Project/PaperDollz Tech Specs:
Today was a good day. Stuff is finally starting to gel a little with the War/Lines/Stereotypes/Collecting, etc. idea. I started working on the Paper Dollz tech specs (short for technical specifications) that will be printed on the back of the box that they are "sold" in. They are currently based on the Transformer Tech Specs I mentioned earlier. Here’s another great link from Jerry describing the Transformer Tech Specs.
The owner of the new PaperDollz is encouraged to cut out the tech specs and save it. This card has information on the Doll, and will usually include:
* Picture (of each stereotype/doll)
* Name (of each stereotype/doll)
* Indication of allegiance (where they fall on the consumer (pop) culture / counter culture scale based on their actual technical specifications).
* Function (example: Stripper: To titillate
* Quote (associated with the character)
* Description (includes biography and behavioral characteristics,technical abilities, weaknesses)
* Technical Specifications (Domestic,Worker, Intellectual, Creative, Rebel,Exotic, Trophy)
Here’s an example I played with today in Photoshop after I sketched out the daily. After finishing it, Jerry and I brainstormed some more and this may wind up in an Excel spreadsheet. We will see.
