Ways to Give A Performance Piece Life in a Gallery Space
- Make an instruction sheet on how to perform the piece
- The gift economy (social theory, giving is done without any expectation of reciprocity)
CURIOUS: OPEN SOURCE DEVELOPMENT IS CONSIDERED A GIFT ECONOMY - Think of the whole installation as a set of instructions
- Create a Kit – this gives it the potential of being activated
- Help make it alive and available (even when it is installed) to create a welcome
