Today is Friday and I am exhausted. I am trying not to stay up too late so that I can get up early tomorrow and continue working.

I had planned to cut all the paper and let it soak overnight so I could start molding the paper mache on the bride tomorrow. I decided that I might wind up cutting off a finger or two on the paper cutter if I tried to accomplish this tonight. I also decided that I need them (my fingers) and my wrist still hurts where I bruised it (unknown at the time …I am leaning towards this happening on Rum night) so I decided to post all the draft blog posts instead and get the Process Blog up to date (I have started to write my posts this way when it is late and I am tired so that I can spell check them before I post them to make the Professor happy). I also just couldn’t bear to work on this tonight and didn’t want a repeat of Rum Night so I am hoping I will feel better tomorrow after some rest and a break from the project.

After reading through the weeks post try to find grammatical errors (notice I state trying) I realized that I had not mentioned Jerry’s new project that he is working on. He is going to make his own bokken (Japanese training sword). Over the last couple of weeks he has been researching woods, learning how to make one, going to Woodcraft to check things out, and trying to bid on tools on Ebay. He picked up his piece of wood last week. I can’t wait until he starts working on it and will keep you up to date as he starts to make it.

I think that this is all I have left in me for the evening.

Check back tomorrow.

Cheers.
