Hello FTI Alumni!
We’re introducing a new style Faculty Technology Institute during Spring Break, 2007. The Institute will be held on March 7-9, 2007 in the Tate Center. All FTI graduates are invited to apply.
How is this FTI different?
This institute is designed specifically for you. The topics were selected based on the responses you gave in our survey! It is shorter and we are trying out a new format! It’ll be less a classroom and more like a conference. We’ll be talking about blogs, podcasts, wikis, and a host of other hot topics. We want to keep it fast-paced and interactive. We’ll also have vendors drop by on the last day to demo their latest hardware and software.
Participants will receive a stipend, but no laptop. But, rest assured that there will be plenty of tech toys to carry home.
How do I apply?
We’re looking for enthusiastic and effective users of technology. We are making the application process simple. Write us a short description of how you’re using technology in your classes. There’s no set length. Just be sure you showcase your accomplishments and enthusiasm.
Send your finished Word document to beatties@cofc.edu by January 15th. You’ll hear back from us by the end of January.
