Friday night I worked until almost 9pm and and went to Jill’s for Tommy’s birthday. Misty, Chris, and Mathew helped us celebrate.
Saturday morning started with a bang promptly at 9am because Jason came over to start Project Light in the Studio. I am THRILLED THRILLED THRILLED. I should also add that this is also Project FAN and Project HEAT. All very very exciting.
Jason was able to install the the patch panel in the laundry/darkroom, get the outside light to turn on and off with the light switch (WITHOUT having to flip the switch up and count to 8, flip the switch down and count to 8, and they flip the switch back up and pray for light), and began installing the light switch and conduit for the shop lights. Saturday was also the night Jerry and I had scheduled for Grendel and Little Dog to have their first sleep over. Little Dog was ecstatic. Jerry brought Grendel over around 5 and stayed for a few hours. Unfortunately it stormed like mad again (it is summer in Charleston) and Grendel was a little spooked. Poor Grendel. Jerry was kind enough to fix the process blog page so that the random image didn’t come up (I had decided that it had become too cluttered) in between working on his own WordPress problems.The departure of Jerry was very sad (I don’t think either one of them wanted to do it) and I am sitting here now with Grendel trying to make him feel better. Tomorrow the plan is to work on the computer trying to get the everything together for Vermont Application and Essay weekend.
