I have good news and bad news.
This evening unable to sleep as usual I went on the porch. Much to my surprise the local taco joint has started having live music on most nights. The huge benefit to this in my eyes? I get free music while sitting on my own private screened in porch. MMMM… a lullaby. Perhaps my neighbors would disagree about this but it appears that at 2:30 am most of them them seem to be sleeping and blissfully unaware. Another exciting positive? If I choose to have a tasty beverage while listening to my private band I do not have to purchase a thing …merely open the fridge conveniently located to my left and wala. Happy Daze.
So here is the good news:
I have removed all the offending div tags from 37 or so posts. Note to the Professor: I did this by reading the dratted code. My eyes are crossed.
The result:
The sidebar returned to its normal place (for AWHILE…don’t get too excited…its not quite time to do the happy dance)
Bad News:
All the categories were not still not showing up.
Good News:
I figured out why(Maybe). They won’t show up unless you tag both the category (i.e. Titles of Works) and the subcategory (i.e. process blog). Interesting. Wish I had made that discovery sooner. So I got to go through the 37 or so posts again and check all the main categories. Glory Be…here come the categories.
However they do not show up in alphabetical order on the sidebar but are in alphabetical order in WordPress. Why is currently a mystery to me. I’m ok with that (for now).
Bad News:
The sidebar went kapluuee again and is at the bottom of the page.
Good News:
I think the HTML/PHP God might be able to fix this. It didn’t center under the posts like last time and it appears that it just needs to be moved up.
Bad News:
Since I was unable to sleep I have given up for the evening on my no drinking rule and have proceeded to spill sake all over both myself and my computer keyboard. It has also become quite cold over the past 2 hours.
Really Really
Good News:
It (the keyboard) appears to still be working. Also, I have found an extra battery and can now work for 6 hours without finding my beloved orange extension cord.
Bad News:
Summer outside in Charleston is like being in a sauna. I just realized that i have sitting out here for almost 2 hours. I will require a shower and this is going to cause another delay before I can sleep.
Good News:
I think I am finally tired enough to try an catch a nap on the couch before the sun rises.
Cheers.
